How To Use Formula 21 Spot Remover Scrape up excess of foreign material and blot with a clean cloth or sponge. Attach a finger sprayer, hold bottle at a 45 degree angle, 4 to 6 inches from surface. Spray spot with Formula 21 Grease Stain Remover until wet. Use a brush for set in stains, working Stain Remover into the carpet pile but not the backing. Blot with cloth or sponge, working from outermost to innermost area. Sparingly repeat spray and blot until spot is removed. Do not allow spray to wet backing as damage could result. #702905
